How are my feelings like, what did I manage, what did influence me

 

Everyone has that moment when you close your eyes while in bed or just relaxing, memories just pass through your mind. Random ones. Sometime good ones, sometimes bad ones. But most importantly happy ones, that gave us experience of something we will always remember. One of those memories is the Comenius program for me. 

One of those happy memories, that gave me the experience of new friendships, new cultures, that made me realize that we are so different but at the same time so alike. Through this program I managed not only to meet people and ideas from other countries but also it gave me the chance to share my own ideas and thoughts about problems concerning young people, my own self included.

When I joined this program I was a little scared to meet new people, people I thought were different from me. But I couldn’t be more wrong. During my trip to Slovakia I had one of the most entertaining and educational trip at the same time. The students of Comenius were the reason of that trip being so amazing.

One particular memory I will always have in my mind about that trip was when I forgot to wear snow boots in a snow hiking. Not very smart of me. While we had an amazing time in a huge cave inside a mountain, on the way down it was very difficult for me to walk down the icy, snowy path. When I tripped and fell down, one student from Turkey helped me up and stayed with me until we got down. I was very grateful to her and we even talked and taught some words of our own language to each other.

That was one of the many memories I will always keep in my mind from the Comenius program. I thank this program for making these past two years very special for me.
