The project meeting in the Czech Republic took place from 2nd to 6th June 2014. During this time there were some main tasks to do.

The first one was a creation of multilingual dictionary about 4 topics (tolerance, conflict, culture and nationality). After a short discussion we described the main items in English and translated them into our own languages.

The second task was to make a resume of interview with minorities. Each country chose one group of minorities (typical for their country, e.g., Vietnamese in the Czech Republic, gypsies in Slovakia..) and asked at least 5 people following questions:

1. Which are the most frequent reasons for leaving their native countries?
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of the life in their „new country“?
3. Is there a possibility of education in their mother tongue; can they use it for communication at municipal offices as well?
4. Are there any conflicts between the minority and the natives?
5. How often do the minorities get married to natives?
6. Do minorities have any own traditions and customs (which ones?)? Are they tollerated by the natives?
7. How many children are born nowadays in the family of minority?
8. What are the typical jobs for them?
The third task was a creation of bulletin full of interesting articles and photos from the first year of the project.

We did also sightseeing tours in Lysa nad Labem, Prague, Přerov nad Labem, Nymburk and Milovice. In Lysa nad Labem we saw some monuments - for example: the garden park, the church, the Museum of Bedrich Hrozny, the square and the symbol of Lysa. We visited the garden park. There were statues, a nice green scenery, a castle, the Labyrinth and a retirement home. Then we went to see the town hall of Lysa. The mayor secretary greeted us and he told us about the history of Lysa.

We visited the Brewery in Nymburk. There they gave us a lecture about brewing beer. During our meeting in the Czech Republic we also visited rural museum in Přerov nad Labem, where we could see how people used to live in the Czech republic a century ago.

The most interesting trip was to Prague, the capital city. We visited lookout tower in Petřín, which is called “ a little sister of the Eiffel tower”.At the top there was a beautiful view of the Prague panorama. We continued to the Prague castle where we were admiring the St. Vitus Cathedral. We also saw the changing of guards there and a beautiful view of the whole city. Then we visited Chamber of Deputies. It was a very nice and interesting experience. We continued to Charles bridge. There were many street artists and stalls with souvenirs. Then we visited the Old Town square. We saw the Astronomical clock tower. Everybody thinks it was a great trip. Generally, the meeting in the Czech Republic was succesful.
